One of my biggest “mom fears” is that someday I’ll look back and realize the last trip we took with the kids was… the LAST trip we took as a family. So every time the kids agree to go on a trip with us it makes this mama’s heart happy. I told each of my three girls that when they graduated high schooI, I would take them on a trip to somewhere that interested them. My oldest Kaleigh went to Ireland, as she wanted to learn more about her roots. My middle daughter Brynna is a budding photographer and wanted to see the Greek Islands for her graduation trip – but, Covid had other ideas. I am a very introverted person, and the thought of a group tour – especially one with the possibility of having upwards of 40 people in it, literally makes me break out in hives. Our Bucket List Trip out West….
After taking a trip to Italy in 2014, I got really excited about travel and started saving airline miles to take my three kids on a trip. I wasn’t ready to take them overseas yet and being from Florida I thought it would be really cool to take them out West. I asked them each to make a bucket list, of items big and small that they wanted to do while we were there, and I’d do my best to make as many as I could happen.
